Dr. Laura Hannon and her team of dental professionals are committed to serving patients of all ages with genuine warmth and understanding. Our team consists of an outgoing, compassionate group of professionals. We each maintain an active, well-rounded lifestyle by exercising, reading (don't be afraid to ask any of us to suggest a good title!), and engaging in many other pursuits. In addition to our individual hobbies and activities, our team has a great passion for giving our time and energy back to the community. We frequently participate in organized community service events, including efforts like the YMCA Bowl-a-thon to raise money in support of children's programs, the Chamber of Commerce Business Night, and the Avon Breast Cancer Walk as part of the Porter County Dental Team.

Dr. Laura Hannon
With over 30 years of experience in preventative and restorative dentistry, Dr. Laura Hannon is a skilled dentist who can meet any of your oral health needs. She graduated from Drake University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Indiana University School of Dentistry.
Dr. Hannon has been a member of the Crown Council for five years. She has also been a member of both the American Dental Association and the Chicago Dental Society for each of the 30 years she has been practicing dentistry. In addition, she has committed herself to providing her patients with the most up-to-date technologies and procedures available, for which reason she attends continuing education courses throughout the country.
Dr. Laura Hannon prides herself on being a great listener, a gentle dentist, and a calming influence; as such, she is able to make her patients' visits as relaxing and comfortable as possible. In her spare time, Dr. Hannon enjoys reading, fiber arts, skiing, yoga, and participating in a handbell choir. She is married and is the mother of three grown children.
Vicki
Vicki is our professional dental hygienist who has been with Dr. Hannon now for 6 years. She has 19 years of experience in general, cosmetic and periodontal offices. She strives to provide the highest standard of care to her patients by doing a thorough cleaning and also helps in co-diagnoses with Dr. Hannon to give the patient the quality and care they deserve. Vicki has been married for 18 years and has two daughters who keep her very busy between competitive swimming and travel softball. She looks forward to caring for her patients and is committed to help them achieve a healthy mouth, which in turn will lead to a healthier body.
Marlene
Marlene celebrates 9 years with Dr Hannon. She is multifaceted in the front office and is able to help you in many areas to make your visit one served with excellence. Marlene’s clinical skills were enhanced last year as she became x-ray certified. Happily married for 33 years and has been blessed with 5 grandchildren. Marlene enjoys assisting patients and would love to be an advocate to any new patients too.
Julie
Julie is the most experienced member of our team apart from Dr. Hannon, as she has more than 17 years of clinical assisting, 16 years of X-ray certification, and 15 years of EFDA certification. She enjoys partnering with patients and making them comfortable during their dental visits. Julie is flexible in her duties, performing any task that would make the office run smoothly and efficiently for both our patients and our team. Julie loves her new role as a grandmother to 18 month old Molly and traveling to Florida yearly.
Kim
Kim is excited to rejoin our dental team after directing community volunteer projects for the past 6 years. She brings her enthusiasm and skills in creative communication to enhance the educational and informational services for our established and newly welcomed patients. Kim provides an additional smiling face and excellent service in the front office two days per week. Kim and her husband Jason are celebrating the recent adoption of their son Samuel and enjoying their time together as a family.
